The real beauty of a vacation at a resort with two stunning, resort-private golf courses with a combined 36 holes of championship golf is having the time, space, and privilege to relax and enjoy the game.
The Rookery at Marco, a naturally beautiful habitat for a challenging game designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy of Jacobsen and Hardy Golf Course Design, is a haven for bald eagles, alligators, and blue herons. It offers 18 challenging holes with 7,100 yards of lush fairways and immaculate paspalum turfgrass, all nestled in shallow wetlands with receptive greens and unforgiving sand traps.
HAMMOCK BAY GOLF CLUB: Designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, is a par 72 Audubon gold-certified sanctuary championship golf course with 18 individual and distinct holes. The live oak tree lined fairways, rolling terrain, and Gulf of Mexico breezes all combine to make Hammock Bay a challenge that our repeat visitors enjoy. The contours, shape and orientation of the course greens were designed with the approach shot in mind. Hammock Bay is now open following the completion of a $4.8 million turfgrass replacement project. The redesigned course features PlatinumTE paspalum turfgrass, creating more vibrant playability and overall golf experience.
The Rookery at Marco Island and Hammock Bay now offers dynamic pricing. By definition, "dynamic" means "constant change," and we like to think of it as progress.
Tee times are based on dynamic pricing, which takes into account variables like the time of day and the weather. Based on demand, availability, and other shifting criteria, this process adjusts golf rates—both lower and higher—in real-time. While this method of charging may be new to the game of golf, it has long been a standard practice for hotels, airlines, and even your favorite sports teams. With rates changing daily, dynamic pricing allows you to choose the right rate for you at the right time on the right day.
