Two Resort Private Championship Courses
The real beauty of a vacation at a resort with two stunning, resort-private golf courses with a combined 36 holes of championship golf is having the time, space, and privilege to relax and enjoy the game.
The Rookery at Marco: A naturally beautiful habitat for a challenging game designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy of Jacobsen and Hardy Golf Course Design, is a haven for bald eagles, alligators, and blue herons. It offers 18 challenging holes with 7,100 yards of lush fairways and immaculate paspalum turfgrass, all nestled in shallow wetlands with receptive greens and unforgiving sand traps.
Hammock Bay Golf Club: Designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, it is a par 72 Audubon gold-certified sanctuary championship golf course with 18 individual and distinct holes. The live oak-lined fairways, rolling terrain, and Gulf breezes all combine to make Hammock Bay a challenge that our repeat visitors enjoy. The contours, shape and orientation of the course greens were designed with the approach shot in mind. Hammock Bay is now open following the completion of a $4.8 million turfgrass replacement project. The redesigned course features PlatinumTE paspalum turfgrass, creating more vibrant playability and an overall better golf experience.
Tee Times
The Rookery at Marco and Hammock Bay offers Dynamic Pricing, which allows you to get the tee time and price you want by booking in advance. The sooner you book, the better chance you have of getting a lower price due to this real-time modeling based on demand, time of the day, and weather conditions.
Appropriate golf attire is required. T-shirts, tank tops, gym wear, and swimwear are not permitted.

Golf Instruction
The Rookery Golf Academy is located behind the Rookery Golf Club's driving range, offering private and small-group lessons for all skill levels. To book a session or ask questions, call (239) 642-2790.
Guests can play a friendly game together or sign up to take professional, instructor-led lessons.
Drill and play is the quickest way to improve your game through court time, clinics, and match play with USPTA Certified Tennis Professionals, designed to keep players at all levels active and competitive. Available seasonally, October–April.
Tennis Courts & Bocce Ball
The courts are located at our Hammock Bay Golf Club and can be reserved for use from 8 am to 4 pm daily, weather permitting.
